Terrarium Care Instructions

Your terrarium is full of moisture loving mosses and plants. It is essential for you to buy a spray bottle for proper care. A small, travel misting bottle can do the trick. You will want to mist this terrarium two to three times weekly. The goal is to mimic a rainstorm. You never want to pour water into the vessel as that could drown your plants and could ultimately cause rot inside. If any plant looks a little wilted you can concentrate the misting bottle to a stream and give the base of the plant in need 4-8 sprays of water depending on the size of your terrarium.

As for light needs, your terrarium will be happiest in bright indirect light. You will notice that the inside of your terrarium has a noticeable temperature difference compared to the room it is housed in. If too much direct sunlight hits the glass, it could potentially steam or burn the plants inside. I like to put my terrariums in rooms with high light but nowhere that the sun will actually hit the glass.

Congrats on your new terrarium! I hope you enjoy this addition of unique living art to your home or office!
